This is the first time the Lower Parel school is participating in the MSSA hockey tournament.

Sejal Konduskar opened the scoring for the Lower Parel side in the 15th minute with a field goal. Eight minutes later, Akshaya Haryan doubled the lead by breaching the defence of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar goalkeeper Preeti More.

In the second half, NM Joshi dominated the proceedings and held on to their lead.

NM Joshi coach Sharmin Bassha said that the win was special considering it’s the school’s maiden appearance in the MSSA tourney.
