On Day One, Yashodham declared their first innings for 332-6 in 88 overs after electing to bat. Ryan was the highest scorer with 131 runs. His 162-ball knock was laced with 21 hits to the fence.
On Day Two, bowling left-arm-spin, Ryan scalped the wickets of Ninad Karmarkar (five), Omastha Sawant (0), Anirudh Gopal (0), Karan Chopra (0) and Atharva Deshpande (0) in the 4.3 overs that he bowled giving away just one run. His fine bowling ensured that the opposition was bowled out for a paltry 24 runs in the first innings. Vinayak Kunwar, who took three wickets giving away three runs, ably supported him.
Following-on, Ryan took three wickets giving away 24 runs as Gokuldham were reeling at 104-8 in 54 overs at stumps. "This is the first time that our school has entered the Elite Division. If we win with a bonus point we have a chance of qualifying for the semi. Tomorrow, we just want to take the remaining two wickets quickly," said the Class VIII student.
