Trophies named after all categories of racing professions--jockeys, trainers, officials and journalists--will feature over the two days racing of the final weekend. The Mahalaxmi racetrack will play host to two well-filled eight-race cards today and tomorrow, with the last races on both days' evening cards scheduled for as late as 9 pm.

Trainers Trophy is one of the interesting races on today's card. Thirteen horses, all five years or older, will contest over a five-furlong sprint. Locarno who for the first time this season goes out with a positive jockey switch, from a rookie to a top jockey, is tipped to win. The six year old mare trained by Mansoor Shah will be ridden by Neeraj Rawal, and shapes as a good bet of the evening.
First race at 5.30 pm.
