Kate made the revelation while speaking in a tell-all documentary, Sue Barker: Our Wimbledon, ahead of the prestigious tennis tournament in London next week.
"I've watched Wimbledon, that was very much part of my growing up. I was really taken by Andre Agassi, Pete Sampras, Goran IvaniševiÄÂu00c2u0087 and Steffi Graf. Those are my first memories. Roger Federer is my mother's heartthrob. I don't think she will mind me saying that! I think he probably knows that too," she said.

Kate also shared an interesting anecdote where her father Michael Francis once mistook British tennis legend Tim Henman for Sampras. She explained: "Being able to go into Wimbledon and be part of an amazing atmosphere is special. My dad is not going to appreciate this, but we were walking past Tim Henman and had seen Sampras play. My dad said, 'Hi Pete'. I was mortified."
