Goregaon SC dominates inter-club badminton

Goregaon Sports Club dominated like no other club in the tournament's history, winning the Motiram Cup (men), AV Ullal Cup (women) and Kanji Memorial trophy (juniors) at the GMBA-Matunga Gymkhana Inter-Club badminton tournament on Saturday

The most remarkable feature about the triple triumph was that it was achieved by junior players Harsheel Dani and Kaushal Dharmamer, and Karishma Wadkar and Lalita Katre amongst the girls.

Dharmamer-Anmol Beharani pair beat RCF’s Abhidnya Sawant-Amey Pawar 21-17, 13-21, 21-16 while Dani beat Amit Kshtriya 21-16, 19-21, 21-19 to clinch Motiram Cup.
