Danish tennis star Caroline reveals how an American fan once went down on his knees for her

Danish tennis ace Caroline Wozniacki rejected a proposal even though it was quite romantically made, on one knee.

And no it wasn’t an offer from her ex-fiance golfer Rory McIlroy or current love interest, Houston Texans’ NFL star JJ Watt.
In fact, it was a rather unexpected proposal to the 25-year-old that came from one of her fans, revealed Wozniacki when asked in an interview about the strangest question she’s ever received from a fan.

“I had a fan go down on one knee with a ring and ask me to marry him. That was in America. Unfortunately, I had to turn him down as he hadn’t asked my dad for permission,” she was quoted as saying by Eurosport website.
It was a fun moment for Wozniacki in an otherwise miserable week. The World No 5 didn’t have a good run at the on-going French Open as she lost in straight sets to Germany’s World No 72 Julia Goerges in the second round.
On the personal front, however, things are looking up for the Danish tennis star. According to reports, Wozniacki arrived in Paris with boyfriend Watt, who came along to show his support to the former World No 1. Sadly, it didnt help much.
