Don Bosco were dominant from the word go, and caused Bombay Scottish serious problems. Pressure told on them eventually when Bosco winger Karsten D-Souza delivered a peach of a ball via a free kick, which Nihal converted to make it 1-0 in the fifth minute.
Karsten was at it again in the 13th minute when he delivered a marvellous corner that hit the crossbar before Nihal headed it home from three yards.
Substitute Krishna Karkera then made it 3-0 in the 30th minute to cap off a brilliant performance.
Don Bosco coach Mohan Pillay said that he was impressed with Karsten-s game yesterday.
About the team-s chances in the final, he said, "we are confident going into the final. We don-t mind either team as they are both tough. At this stage you cannot afford to take any team lightly."
In the second semi-final, Cathedral & John Connon Fort beat Campion School Cooperage 2-0 with Kabir Sukhwani 18th minute and Mir Mehta 36th minute doing the scoring. Bosco will play Cathedral in the final on Thursday at St Xavier-s ground, Parel.
