A condolence meeting has been scheduled at 6.00 pm today at Gokhale Hall, Tilak Bhavan, Vile Parle (East) to remember late cricket administrator Prakash Palekar (74), who passed away on August 15 in Pune where he went to visit some friends

A condolence meeting has been scheduled at 6.00 pm today at Gokhale Hall, Tilak Bhavan, Vile Parle (East) to remember late cricket administrator Prakash Palekar (74), who passed away on August 15 in Pune where he went to visit some friends.

The Mumbai-based personality was secretary at Tata Sports Club as well as the ex managing committee member of the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA). His demise has greatly saddened the cricketing fraternity. Palekar also played a prominent role popularising cricket in Vile Parle.
