On Thursday, Aussie media reported that Hussey couldn't do anything about it because CA had vested interests in the tournament. That left the Aussie duo only two days to prepare for the Mohali Test.
"It is a very complex issue. All the top players in the world were going to be a part of the Champions League," CA's spokesman Phillip Pope told MiD DAY.u00a0 "In this case, MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina were also a part of that final," he said.u00a0 Pope stressed it was becoming increasingly difficult to manage international assignments.
