Amir Sayyed's double strikes were the feature of Carmelites SC's 3-1 win against a fighting Somlands SC in a Premier Division fourth round encounter of the 15th Bandra West Football League at the Dr Norman Lewis Supari Talao, Municipal grounds.

After Masood Munshi scored an early goal to give Somlands a first half lead, Carmelites made a strong second half reply, with Amir scoring two quick goals to put his team in the lead (2-1). Amir's teammate Smit Devkar then netted the third goal in the final moments of the encounter to seal the win and the full three points for Carmelites.

Meanwhile, in other encounters, Celtic 7070 blanked Sea View SC 8-0, Millwall FC outplayed Young XI 7-0, and AK Chimbai beat Chimbai SC 2-0.
