Australian Open champion Caroline Wozniacki made short work of her opponent in the second round of the St Petersburg Ladies Trophy here last night.
The World No. 1 from Denmark breezed to a 6-0, 6-1 victory over home player Anastasia Potapova, 16, in Russia.
Potapova was not helped by serving six double faults against a ruthless opponent who showed the sort of form which earned her a first grand slam title in Melbourne.
Germany's Julia Georges joins Wozniacki in round three after a 7-5, 6-0 win over Italy's Roberta Vinci.
France's Kristina Mladenovic defeated Slovakian Dominika Cibulkova 6-4, 6-4 and the Czech Republic's Katerina Siniakova won 7-6 (9/7), 7-5 against Russian Ekaterina Makarova.
Czech Republic's Petra Kvitova needed three sets to beat Romania's Irina-Camelia Begu 6-3, 1-6, 6-1.
