Later, a dominant Don Bosco scored from two penalty corners in the first and second quarters to defeat St Stanislaus (Bandra) 2-0. Don Bosco dictated terms from the start and forced a penalty corner in the fourth minute. Rohan Varkhade trapped a weak clearance and quickly pushed the ball into the goal. The Stanislaus boys, who were under a lot of pressure, conceded another penalty corner towards the end of the first half. Bosco’s Suhaan Pawle was ideally placed to tap in a deflection following a scramble in front of the rival goal.
