Algerian footballer Riyad Mahrez, 30, has revealed that Taylor Ward, 23, is the one he needs forever as the Manchester City star announced their engagement on social media.

According to British tabloid, The Sun, Mahrez got down on one knee as the couple holidayed in Mykonos, Greece, along with Ward’s parents, former footballer Ashley, 50 and Dawn, 47. Mahrez proposed after they had lunch with a custom made GBP400,000 (approx Rs 4.14 cr) ring.

“Taylor was not expecting this at all, and was utterly over the moon. Riyad chose the ring himself and had it specially made,” a source told the tabloid.

On Tuesday, Mahrez Instagrammed this picture (right) and captioned it: “So happy for everything you are the best, you’re the one I need in my life forever.” Meanwhile, Ward wrote: “There’s no one I’d rather do this life with, here’s to a lifetime of us. Can’t wait to grow old together. I Love You.”
