Swedish reality TV star Misse Beqiri suggests it was the pressures of her new found fame that led to the break up of her marriage with former Manchester United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard.
“He actually is a nice guy, but we’re two different people, we’ve grown apart. It’s difficult but sometimes you have to face it rather than living a lie,” she was quoted by the International Business Tribune recently.
The couple, who have a three-year-old son Julian together, announced their split on August 24. They released a statement stating “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split.
“I feel tired of trying to fix something that’s not working. I feel like I’m crying all the time and I can’t anymore. It’s so hard because I feel like I’m failing. Why can’t I make this work?” Beqiri, who has now cemented her relationship with another TV star Jake Hall, added.
