Brazilian footballer Dani Alves tied the knot with long-term girlfriend Joana Sanz over the weekend, with the pair getting married away from the public eye in Ibiza. Former Barcelona star Alves, who is now a free agent after leaving Juventus, may have kept the ceremony small and quiet, but a few of his wedding guests were quick to post pictures of his special day on Instagram.

Sanz, 23, frequently appears in glamour magazines such as Elle and has starred in various advertising campaigns for high-end brands such as Jimmy Choo. A social media star, Sanz has amassed an Instagram following of more than 345,000.

While his relationship status is now solidified, his career remains up in the air, with a verbal agreement over deal with Man City reportedly hitting a snag after a reported late bid from Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain.
