Manchester City’s goal machine Erling Haaland, 22, has revealed that the secret to his home success is dad, Alfie’s pasta. The star striker scored his third consecutive hat-trick at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester City’s 6-3 hammering of rivals Man United on Sunday, taking his goal tally to 17 in just 10 games.

And the Leeds-born star has credited his goals to father’s homemade lasagna. “I’ve had it [lasagna] before every home game and it turns out fairly well every game. So there has to be something special he adds to it,” Haaland told Norwegian broadcasters, Viasat.
