“Abbey’s not worried about Pete going on Strictly or being paired with a glam female dancer because she’s not insecure,” an insider close to Clancy told gossip portal, Heat World. “But she knows that whoever goes on it will be hit with curse rumours and she just doesn’t want to invite that kind of drama and noise into their relationship. She’s not going to put her foot down or stop him doing it, but she does want them to make a big declaration of love first by getting their vows renewed. Obviously, it’s not just about the show, it’s about celebrating their love for one another and acknowledging the hard times they’ve been through in the past, but this is definitely a catalyst.”
The couple have been married for 10 years.
