Pasadena (US): Colombian midfielder James Rodriguez who fought pain to net a winner and send his side to the Copa America quarter-finals said he will always be committed to his country.

The Real Madrid man was hurt during Tuesday's encounter at the Rose Bowl against Paraguay but he inspired Colombia to a 2-1 victory.

It was Carlos Bacca who gave Colombia the lead 12 minutes into the game and then James made it 2-0 at the half- hour mark.
"Here, for Colombia, I will play until I am crippled," James was quoted as saying by goal.com.
"Here I always want to play, and I am happy because I always want to help, and against Paraguay I was able to."
The 24-year-old also praised Paraguay for putting in a good show.
"Paraguay played really well. We put in a good shift, especially when they had the better of the game," he said.
"Colombia had some good quality and I think we all had an excellent game."
