Football star continues to sport wedding ring despite wife Coleen taking hers off following his recent encounter with another woman

England football hero Wayne Rooney continues to wear his wedding ring despite wife Coleen having taken it off, according to reports in British tabloid, The Sun. Rooney was recently arrested for drunk driving in a car with a party girl, Laura Simpson, who later said that the couple kissed and would have gone on to sleep together had he not been caught by the cops. This happened while Coleen, who is pregnant with Rooney's fourth child, was away on holiday in Majorca.

Now, a few days ago, Coleen was seen driving in Manchester without her GBP 250,000 (Rs 2 crore) wedding band and GBP 200,000 (Rs 1.7 crore) engagement ring.

However, Rooney was photographed at Liverpool airport on Wednesday travelling for Everton's Europa League match against Atalanta wearing his ring. He looked glum though which could be the consequence of a reportedly massive showdown at home, where the former Manchester United star is learnt to have begged his wife "Please don't walk out."

It is learnt that Rooney has promised Coleen that he'll stop his nights out with pals however she is already planning an October holiday in Dubai with the kids. Rooney unfortunately cannot join in even if he wants to because as the striker has some crucial matches during the same period.
