Uncle's Kitchen United beat Mean Machine 4-1 to clinch the JSC Sports Club-organised five-a-side rink football title at the Juhu Gymkhana ground recently. In the summit clash, Shannon Pereira scored a brace for UK United while teammates Harold Fernandes and Sherwyn Chang added a goal each for the winners.
Karan Khanna pulled one back for the losing side. Pereira won the golden boot while Harold was named Man of the final. Malad-based UK United were awarded a cash prize of R50,000, while Mean Machine were richer by Rs 40,000.
