National Basketball Association (NBA) champion Stephen Curry's wife Ayesha juggles many roles -- an entrepreneur, celebrity chef, mother and wife, among others. But one of the titles Ayesha does not like to carry is that of a NBA wife.
"Obviously mom and wife first. Those are the two most important titles. I don't think I'll ever call myself that [NBA wife]. I mean, I don't think Stephen would call himself a chef's husband," Ayesha, who recently opened her flagship restaurant, International Smoke, in San Francisco, told Nightline, a TV show on ABC news.
Ayesha, 28, also hosts her own TV show besides being a co-host on ABC's The Great American Baking Show. She is also one of the faces of Cover Girl and has a cookware line, a home cooking service besides being a doting mother to daughters, Riley and Ryan.
Ayesha sure is a Steph Curry fan though, and recalled the first time she went to watch him play, at the age of 19: "Walking into that basketball game, I was so freaking confused. I was like 'What? Why does everyone have your number on their back?' Now of course, I'm a die-hard fan and I love it so much."
