Ammar Halabi's dream of meeting his hero Mohamed Salah came true during Liverpool's pre-season tour of the USA with the help of Make-A-Wish-Foundation. Ammar, 16, is battling muscular dystrophy, a condition. where the patient does not grow like normal human beings as there is a progressive weakness and degeneration of the skeletal or voluntary muscles which control movement.

Salah embraced and chatted with the youngster, and his parents, before gifting him with a Liverpool shirt bearing his name. In a video posted by Liverpool FC's official Twitter handle, Ammar said: "Everybody loves him [Salah] and I want to be like him. He is a great person. It's a really great feeling. I wished it [meeting] could have lasted even longer so that I could talk to him more."
