OLPS midfielders Aryan Gupta, Tejas Kamble and Aryan Vanjari smartly created openings for forwards Abhishek Darole and Dev Julka. The Chembur schoolboys opened the scoring in the 23rd minute when Abhishek picked up Prajit Shetty's short forward pass just inside the rival half.

He then launched into a solo run as he weaved past a couple of defenders before slotting past an advancing Sacred Heart goalkeeper — Aryan Vishwakarma — to the far left corner. On resumption, OLPS scored two quick goals through Dev to put the issue beyond the Santacruz lads.

Don Bosco 'B' win
Later in the day, Don Bosco 'B', Matunga overcame Navy Children School, Colaba 2-1. Joshua Fernandes scored the first goal for Don Bosco in the seventh minute before Navy Children drew level through Mohit Yadav's strike in the 19th minute.
