Anish Singh completed a hat-trick of hat-tricks when he scored all the three goals in Army Public School's (Colaba) convincing 3-0 win over St Xavier's (Fort) in a boys' under-16 Division II semi-final of the Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA) inter-school football tournament at Azad Maidan yesterday.

Anish, 15, had notched up his first hat-trick of the tournament against Swami Vivekanand in the group phase and then got his second in a fluent 4-0 win over Don Bosco (Matunga) 'B' in the quarter-finals. "It's feels great to score another hat-trick. I have scored 11 goals in five matches so far. I would like to thank my teammates because without their support, I would not have been able to score so many goals," Anish told mid-day after the win.

The Army school boys will meet Hansraj Morarjee Public School (Andheri) in the final on Tuesday.  Yesterday, Hansraj Morarjee beat Utpal Sanghvi (Juhu) 1-0 in the other semi-final. Striker Zaid Kazi's 30-yard long ranger sealed the win for Hansraj Morarjee.
