Real Madrid star wants US pop singer to perform at his wedding with fiancee Emma Rhys-Jones next year
Real Madrid's star footballer Gareth Bale's representatives are currently in talks with American pop singer Beyonce to perform at the Welshman's wedding to long-time girlfriend Emma Rhys-Jones, 26, sometime next year. Madrid-resident Bale, 29, will wed the mother of his two daughters, Alba Violet, 5, and Nava Valentina, one, in mid-2018 in Italy. The marriage was supposed to happen earlier but the bride's father, Martin, was jailed for fraud in New York last year and so the date had to be set to some time later next year.

The couple, it is learnt, are planning two receptions - one in the United Kingdom and one in Italy - and are keen that the American singer is free for the Italy function. According to British tabloid, The Sun, the couple's agents are in discussion with Beyonce, 36, who charges a staggering £1.5 million (Rs 13 crore) for private appearances. Cost however shouldn't be a problem for Bale who earns £300,000 a week (R2.5 crore). But then, a little negotiation won't hurt either, isn't it?
