Arsenal loanee Jack Wilshere has admitted that he turns to Christianity to help him during injury woes. The 25-year-old, on loan at Bournemouth, is presently nursing an ankle strain, and in an interview with UK's online portal Kicca, described the role of religion in easing his predicament.
"Sometimes, you know what it's like, you sit there thinking about everything, and everything runs through your head and you think: 'Oh I wonder if there is a God.' And I think there is. I do believe in that side of Christianity. I think it has helped me through injuries a little bit," the midfielder confessed.
