Despite the elation of winning their first La Liga in five years, Real Madrid's stars were left somewhat bemused following their title-clinching win over Malaga.
Zinedine Zidane's side ensured their first Primera Division success since 2012 with a 2-0 win on Sunday, but their on-pitch celebrations were dampened by the news that the trophy would not be presented until next season.
During the post-match festivities, Gareth Bale and Luka Modric appeared visibly confused when Madrid's press officer informed them that there will be no trophy presentation.
In footage of the celebrations, Bale can then be seen discussing the news with Cristiano Ronaldo, who was less than impressed. "There's no trophy," Bale said.
Ronaldo, who scored one of Madrid's two goals in the win, responded: "I know. It's a f***king joke!"
Real Madrid could well be forced to wait a number of months before being presented with their 33rd Primera Division trophy. Indeed, last season's champions Barcelona only received their trophy at an official awards ceremony held in October.
