Turin: Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon insists his side must improve if they want to be serious Champions League contenders this season following a narrow 1-0 win in Lyon. Substitute Juan Cuadrado scored the winning goal in the 76th minute for the Italian champions.
"Juve must improve because this is not enough to go all the way," Buffon said. "I know what we did when we were 11 against 11 and it’s not enough, ironically we were more a team when we remained with 10 men. The spirit is good but there is room for improvement, it would be a pity if we don’t make many steps forward because we have everything to improve a lot as a team," Buffon said.
"We need to if we want to be protagonists in Europe."
