All eyes will be on Stamford Bridge when Chelsea and Barcelona face each other in the Champions League last 16, first leg
The Blues have yet to suffer a loss at home in the elite competition this term and Tuesday's football match against Barca will be anything but a walk in the park for the hosts. Antonio Conte's men are likely to adopt a defence-minded approach, but preventing the Catalan giants from scoring is easier said than done. Ernesto Valverde's men are enjoying a season to remember and seeing that Antonio Conte is on the verge of leaving Chelsea, looking at current forms of both the teams, La Liga side looks more promising to win the contest at Stamford Bridge. A man to watch in the away team will be Argentine superstar Leo Messi who has been scoring goals for fun in all competitions this term.
Thanks to a 1-1 draw with Maribor, Sevilla set up a meeting with Manchester United in the last 16 of the Champions League
Sevilla faced an uphill task in the double-header against the Red Devils but they are definitely capable of matching the Premier League side in front of home fans. New coach Vincenzo Montella is eager to make his Champions League debut with a win, but beating Jose Mourinho's troops is easier said than done. The Portuguese tactician did remarkably well to bring Chilean superstar Alexis Sanchez to Old Trafford in the January transfer window and all eyes will be on the former Arsenal man when the two teams face each other at Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan. Man Utd are more of a team than Sevilla but seeing that Vincenzo Montella's charges are tough to beat at home, it seems both the teams will display best of their skills to advance in the competition.
Bayern Munich play host to Besiktas at their Allianz Arena in the Champions League last 16, first leg
The mighty Bavarians are seen as hot favourites when they meet Beskistas next but they will have to fight it hard considering Beskistas records in this Champions League season. The Bundesliga champions have been producing splendid displays in the German top flight ever since Jupp Heynckes re-took over the reins and one should bear in mind that they are on an eight-game winning run at home in the national championship. On the other hand, Besiktas are undefeated in the Champions League this term, but Bayern Munich are likely to pose a much bigger threat for the Turks than their previous rivals. A man to watch out for is none other than Bayern star goal scorer Robert Lewandowski as he has been impressive in front of goal this season, meaning that the opposition defenders should have him at bay.
