Smriti Mandhana was a key member of the Indian Women's Cricket team when they quailified for the finals of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2020 in Australia and played brilliantly in the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games to take India to a silver medal.
One of the finest batters of our time, Smriti Mandhana has been an enigma for the top bowlers around the globe. The left-handed batter has always taken a bold approach to cricket ever since she made her international debut in 2013 and hit her first international century in 2016.
Smriti Mandhana played a crucial role in taking the Indian Women's Cricket team to the final of the ICC Women's World Cup 2017, England & Wales and continued her terrific performance in 2018 to win the Rachael Heyhoe-Flint Award for the best female cricketer of the year.
The batter showed her mettle in the T20Is as well after playing some remarkable innings in ODI cricket. She has struck the second-most fifties in the Women's T20 Internationals and has also played for some of the top teams outside India.
She also featured in the ICC Women's Team of the Year in 2016 and hasn't looked back ever since.
The Indian batter has plenty of experience behind her and will look to use it to play magnificently for RCB women’s team in the upcoming Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023.
