TATA Mumbai Marathon, scheduled to be in action on the third Sunday of January like every year has taken the participants' excitement to the sky level. The event is all set to be scheduled on January 19, with the run starting from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT)
On January 19, 2025, the event will mark its 20th edition and there will be many runners making their first appearances and many others who will be making their 20th appearance as well
Do you know the sitting capacity of Wankhede Stadium? It might be approximately around 32,000. On January 19, Mumbai will witness nearly double the size of Wankhede Stadium's crowd, which is nearly 64,000 runners will participate in the event
Mumbai Local trains, known as the lifeline of the city have always stood in difficult times for the city crowd. Western Railway's General Manager Mr Ashok Mishra made an announcement during the press conference at the Trident of running the local trains a bit early in order to help the runners commute from their homes to the Marathon venue on time
Mo Farah, an athlete with enthusiasm and several gold medals at the global level will be present at the event. One of the greatest track runners, Mo will be the International Event Ambassador for the TATA Mumbai Marathon
Similarly, Indian squash player Joshna Chinappa was also present at the press conference to unveil the jerseys
