Often referred to as the ‘God of Cricket’, Sachin Tendulkar is the highest-scoring batter for India. He scored 34,357 runs in 664 matches of his international career spanning almost 25 years. His highest score was 248* in a Test against Bangladesh in Dhaka in 2004.
2. Virat Kohli
Indian cricketing star Virat Kohli has scored 25,582 international runs so far which includes 76 centuries and 131 half-centuries. He is currently playing his 500th international match.
3. Rahul Dravid
Rahul Dravid, former star batter and current coach, is third on the list with 24,208 runs in 509 matches, his highest score being 270.
4. Sourav Ganguly
Sourav Ganguly scored 18,575 runs in 424 international matches, including 38 centuries. His highest score was 239.
5. Rohit Sharma
Rohit Sharma recently overtook former captain MS Dhoni (17,266 runs) to become the fifth-highest run-scorer for India. He has scored 17,298 runs in 443 international appearances so far, including 44 centuries and 92 fifties.
