The Indian ODI squad features a lot of regulars with only a few changes. The selection didn't have any major surprises with 17 members literally picking themselves.
On expected lines, Rohit Sharma will be leading the ODI squad. Hardik Pandya has been named his deputy.
One of the most talked about changes in the squad is the return of Sanju Samson. The wicketkeeper-batter has found a place in India ODI squad and will be donning the blues for the West Indies tour.
Mohammed Shami has been rested from Tests as well as ODIs following a hectic schedule of competitive cricket.
The other players in India's ODI squad are Shubman Gill, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Virat Kohli, Surya Kumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan (wk), Shardul Thakur, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Jaydev Unadkat, Mohd. Siraj, Umran Malik and Mukesh Kumar.
Rishabh Pant was sidelined due to injuries. The injured Jasprit Bumrah, Shreyas Iyer, and Rahul, whenever fit, also select themselves, and together these 20 players will most likely make the core group going into the big World Cup.
