Team India's Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Manish Pandey shared an unbeaten 98-run stand for the fifth wicket in the second T20I against South Africa and helped the visitors reach 188-4 in their 20 overs despite a rare top order failure. However, during the partnership it looked like Dhoni was unhappy with his partner. In a video that went viral yesterday, Dhoni could have used foul language to Pandey over running between the wickets.
It was the last over of the innings when Pandey hit towards mid-wicket and ran a single. But Dhoni was clearly looking for the second run and when he saw the youngster ball-watching, rather than focusing on his partner, the ice-cool Dhoni lost his temper briefly. The very next ball, Dhoni launched Dane Paterson for a huge six over extra cover.
The usually calm former skipper has often been heard asking his teammates to buck up on the stump microphone, but this was a totally different version of Dhoni.
