Harshal Patel (RCB)

Harshal Patel

Harshal Patel, the tournament's highest wicket-taker, is in the form of his life. The right-arm medium pacer, who was traded by Royal Challenger Bangalore (RCB) from Delhi Capitals, claimed 32 wickets in 15 matches to record the most wickets by an uncapped bowler in an IPL season. Against Mumbai Indians (MI), he claimed a fifer in the opening match of IPL-14 at Chennai and his 4-17 against the same opponents included a hat-trick in the second half of the tournament at Dubai.

Avesh Khan (DC)

Abesh Khan

Avesh Khan, the second-highest wicket-taker in IPL-14, has been one of the most impactful bowlers for Delhi Capitals (DC) this season. The right-arm medium pacer started the UAE leg without a wicket against Sunrisers Hyderabad but made a strong comeback in the upcoming matches including three wickets each against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and MI. He finished the tournament with 24 wickets in 16 matches.

Venkatesh Iyer (KKR)

V Iyer

Venkatesh Iyer has been the find of IPL-14. The KKR opener took everyone by surprise by scoring an unbeaten 41 off just 27 balls to lead his team to victory against Royal Challengers Bangalore on his IPL debut—also KKR's first match in the second half of IPL-14.

He continued his fine form by scoring 53 in his next match against MI. There was no looking back for the tall southpaw as he went on to score 370 runs in 10 matches, including 50 in the final against Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

Rahul Tripathi (KKR)

Rahul Tripathi

Rahul Tripathi did not get to bat in the first match of the UAE leg. However, he scored an unbeaten 74 off just 42 balls to help KKR chase MI's 155-6 in just 15.1 overs. He stole the show in Qualifier 2 by smashing a six off DC off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin off the penultimate ball to take KKR into the final. He finished the tournament scoring 397 runs in 17 matches.

Yashasvi Jaiswal (RR)

Yashasvi Jaiswal

Yashasvi Jaiswal played all matches for Rajasthan Royals in the UAE leg after featuring in just three in the first leg of IPL-14. The young left-handed batsman scored 49 to help RR win their first match in the second leg. The Mumbai boy continued his fine form, scoring a quickfire 50 off just 21 balls as his team chased CSK's mammoth 189-4 with 15 balls to spare.
