New Zealand wicketkeeper-batter Devon Conway on Thursday was ruled out of the final of the T20 World Cup and the tour of India due to a broken hand.


Conway sustained the injury during the semi-final against England. Frustrated after being dismissed, Conway hit his own bat and scans confirmed that he had broken his fifth metacarpal in his right hand. This is the second injury blow to NZ after Lockie Ferguson was ruled out ahead their opener against Pakistan due to a calf tear.
