Pace ace Jasprit Bumrah has been released from the squad for the fourth Test against England at Ranchi. According to a BCCI press release, “the decision was taken keeping in mind the duration of the series and amount of cricket he has played in recent times.”

Meanwhile, KL Rahul has been ruled out of the Ranchi Test (February 23). “His participation in the final Test match in Dharamsala is subject to fitness,” the BCCI said. The Karnataka batsman-wicketkeeper missed the Vizag and Rajkot Tests due to a quadriceps injury.
