Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli is unarguably witnessing one of his worse seasons at the IPL franchise.
Virat Kohli and Co suffered their sixth consecutive loss in their match against Kolkata Knight Riders. KKR defeated RCB by 6 wickets after a blitzkreig from Sunil Narine and Chris Lynn atop the batting order.
Earlier in the IPL 10 season, Bangalore were humiliated by Kolkata as they were bowled out for the lowest ever IPL total of 49 runs.
Last year finalists, RCB have failed to qualify for the play-offs.
Kohli took to social networking website Twitter to not only thank the fans but also apologise for Royal Challengers Bangalore's below-average performance at the ongoing IPL 2017 edition.
Thanks to the @RCBTweets fans for all the unconditional love and support this season as well. Sorry we couldn't play up to our standards.

RCB stalwarts Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers and the captain himself, Virat Kohli have failed to perform consistently and this could be one of the reasons for Royal Challengers Bangalore's current position in the Indian Premier League.
