The spectators will keep tabs on Indian stalwart Virat Kohli as he is coming off after having a great run in the recently concluded Indian Premier League 2024. Featuring in 15 matches, he has amassed 741 runs for Royal Challengers Bengaluru, following which he was also awarded with the "Orange Cap."

India's Rishabh Pant is set to make his first international appearance after staying out for about 15 months. During the warm-up match against Bangladesh, the left-hander accumulated 53 runs off 32 deliveries. He retired out after him smashing 4 fours and 4 sixes.

With Yashasvi Jaiswal in India's T20 World Cup 2024 side, the question arises for the suitable opening duo. Following IPL 2024 performances, there are higher chances of Kohli opening the innings with traditional opening batsman Rohit Sharma. If Jaiswal secures his spot as an opener, then Team India might get a proper lefty-righty opening pair.

The Irish batsmen are struggling to score runs against India's pace attack. The duo manages to score runs after the completion of two overs.
