South Africa's Imran Tahir, family apply for visa; get humiliated by Pakistan High Commission South African spinner Imran Tahir witnessed first-hand ill-treatment when he was en-route to play for the World XI in Pakistan.
Imran Tahir is playing in the 14-member World XI team which includes seven cricketers from Test-playing nations who will take on Pakistan at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. They will play three T20Is on 12, 13 and 15 September.
According to NDTV, Imran Tahir was humiliated by the Pakistan High Commission in Birmingham while he was about to get his visa to play.
Imran Tahir took to social networking site Twitter to expressed how disappointed he was at the treatment received by the Pakistan Consulate. He wrote: Me with my family were humiliated & expelled from Pak High Commission earlier today when I went to get visa to play for WorldXI in Pakistan.
He also went on to describe the entire incident along with his tweet.

Imran Tahir, who is a Pakistan-born cricketer, has played for South Africa in 20 Tests picking 57 wickets and 78 ODIs with 132 wickets.
