ICC World Cup 2023 match 27 will be played between Australia and New Zealand in Dharmashala's HPCA Stadium. The match will start at 10.00 am.


Both the teams have faced each other in 141 ODI matches out of which Australia is leading with 95 wins and New Zealand has come victorious in just 39 matches. Seven matches between the teams ended with no result.



Both the teams have played five matches in the ICC World Cup 2023 so far. New Zealand has won the four matches and has lost one against India. Whereas, the five-time world champions did not start the campaign well but have won three games and lost two matches.


There is no confirmation about whether New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson will play the match against Australia. He didn't play the last match against the host team due to his thumb injury. Stand by captain Tom Latham led the Kiwis in that match.

Australia in their last clash against the Netherlands displayed an all round performance. Australia's veteran opening batsman David Warner scored 104 runs in just 93 balls and all rounder Glenn Maxwell went on to score the fastest ODI hundred. He smashed 104 runs in just 4 deliveries. Even Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne scored 71 runs and 62 runs, respectively.

Australia's Adam Zampa is on the list of leading wicket takers. He has 13 wickets under his belt so far. The Aussies will rely on the mighty spinner to strike early wickets of the Kiwis.

New Zealand is among the favourites to win the ICC World Cup 2023 according to cricket experts. Kiwis has displayed an outstanding performance in all aspects. They have just lost one match so far and have impressed the cricket spectators with their skills.

Daryl Mitchell scored 130 runs in 127 balls in their last meeting against India. Young centurion Rachin Ravindra again displayed his strokes and scored 75 runs in the same match. Rachin will be eyed by people in the New Zealand vs Australia match.
