Though it was an optional practice session for Rohit Sharma & Co on Tuesday, the full Team India squad spent more than three hours practising under lights at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Gahunje on Tuesday.

Immediately after arriving at the venue, skipper Rohit and head coach Rahul Dravid had a look at the pitch. Star batsman Virat Kohli was the first one to take guard in the nets, where he initially took throw downs and then spent more than 30 minutes facing the net bowlers.

Almost all top-order batsmen, including Suryakumar Yadav and all the bowlers spent sufficient time in the nets. Dravid and batting coach Vikram Rathour were keen observers of Suryakumar batting in the nets, watching from where the umpire would be in a match.

Rathour fed the Mumbai star  throw downs to test his back foot shots.
