"The helmets are given by the SL board and I am sure they are safe. This happens sometimes and I have no issues with it," he said from Colombo.


"I think Pakistani captain Misbah-ul-Haq-s helmet was also broken recently and this can happen to anyone. I am yet to speak to my son as he is still at the ground, but will certainly speak to him after the match. What I understand is this injury is less serious than his calf injury. His participation in the remaining matches is doubtful but he-ll recover soon," said Tyronne.
