Every Indian Premier League season sees some deserving cricketers being sidelined with the team management being either unable to fit him into the playing XI or not wanting to pick him for a variety of reasons.

But this forces a talented player to wait out the entire period on the bench unable to use the big stage of the T20 league to make a splash.

Teams also suffer due to players getting injured or commitments to the national team.
