Sharjah: Hamilton Masakadza's 138-ball 83 and Luke Jongwe's 5-6 helped Zimbabwe beat Afghanistan by 117 runs in the third one-day international at Sharjah Cricket Stadium here on Saturday.

Masakadza shared a 104-run stand for the eighth wicket with Graeme Cremer (58) to take Zimbabwe to a respectable total of 175 in 48.3 overs after being in dire straits at one point on 49-7.


In reply, Afghanistan never got the momentum going after losing two wickets in the opening over. They were all out for only 58 in 16.1 overs.
