A source close to the family in Delhi said, "Yuvraj left for England on Saturday. He has had bouts of cough for a long time. We are waiting for another report and he will be seeing an oncologist (Dr Anderson Nicholan)," the source said. "We await results of further tests and don't know whether he would require to undergo treatment," the source added.

According to PTI, Yuvraj has travelled to the United States and is also doubtful of playing the fifth edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) starting April 4. He might be out of competitive cricket for about six months.

Ready for NZ?
Yuvraj is likely to get fit before the home series against New Zealand. "Yuvraj is an asset and no one would want to see him rush his comeback. He knows that Indian team still needs his services and won't rush his comeback. The healing might take considerable amount of time, may be upto six months. Therefore, ideally one can expect his comeback when New Zealand are in India, in August this year," a source told the news agency.
