Had he got a triple, he would have been higher than Sir Don Bradman, who scored two triple centuries in his 52-Test career.




He told them that they would be looked upon "in kindly fashion" by selectors if they made an attempt to entertain. As it happened, that series brought about the revival of Australian Test cricket.
