We can't keep losing before semi-finals: Sehwag

The six-wicket defeat to Kings XI Punjab notwithstanding, Delhi Daredevils captain Virender Sehwag asserted that his side's morale remained high but warned against complacency ahead of the IPL semi-finals.

"I don't think the loss will affect team morale because we have won six or seven consecutive games. We were hoping to win the game. But still we played good cricket. (There were) not many runs on the board, that's why we lost. The atmosphere is very good, everybody is happy," Sehwag said.

"We are not taking it easy. If we start losing the kind of form Twenty20 is you lose the momentum. It's very hard to get back the (winning) momentum. So we have tried to keep the momentum with us and hopefully we will do well in the next couple of games," he added.

Sehwag insisted that his side did not miss a second spinner but said a good over out of the last three in the Kings XI run chase could have tilted the match.

"I think Rajat Bhatia and (Tillakaratne) Dilshan bowled really well. If we bowled one good over, the match was over, the match was in our hands. But Irfan (Pathan) batted well at the end and he just took the match away from us."

Sehwag indicated Australian fast bowler Glenn McGrath, who has so far been warming the bench, could get his first chance of this season in Daredevils' next game.

"We will try couple of changes in next few games. Hopefully, McGrath will get a chance to play."
