Walking is an individual choice: Adam Gilchrist

In his statement on Saturday, Adam Gilchrist, a noted walker, insisted walking was a choice for individual players and that he'd no issues with Broad's conduct.

“Those who followed my career will be well aware of my personal views on the matter of walking and that’s what they are, my personal views,” Gilchrist said.

“I had my go and I am now content to sit back and watch the current generation play the game in whatever manner they are comfortable with.”
