Sri Lankans skittled the Dutch for just 39. Mystery spinner Ajantha Mendis and Malinga were instrumental in that rout, with combined figures of 5-17.
Asked if his side could ever dismiss a side for such a paltry total again, Chandimal said: "It has happened and we are playing to our strengths so maybe it can happen next game also.
It is no secret that the game plan Chandimal refers to involves unleashing Malinga and his specialist yorkers at some stage. "He is a good bowler.
He's one who is key to our success in the T20 format," the captain said. "He gets good wickets for us — that's why we are successful. I can't hit him for a six — I never did that. I only try for boundaries against him."
